Christianity is not just a set of beliefs nor is it a law
which one follows, Christianity is a way that one threads upon one step at a
time. Christianity as I understand it is a way of thinking and a way of acting,
a whole way of life. It is a path to walk upon, a narrow path and there are few
who find it.
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the
gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there
be which go in thereat: Because strait is
the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there
be that find it.” Matthew 7:13 – 14
The Quaker Faith and Practice reminds us that “Remember
that Christianity is not a notion but a way.”
in chapter 1.02. A way that leads to salvation from sin through faith in
Christ.
